Small objects with red haired women

Turkish Silver box  for Cigarettes 

We start out with cigarette boxes.

Many used to have beautiful pictures in enamel or porcelain or even ivory.

The artists are unknown to me. All the cigarette boxes are for sale on E-bay

now on the 10th of January 2013 Just write cigarette Etui or Cigarette box or similar : silver cigarette box

Back in time Artists did not find it degrading to earn part of their living as 

illustrators for magazines books or posters . They also designed ceramics and porcelain, 

glass, furniture and jewelry besides their normal work as painters and sculptors. Many of this objects are 

not signed and later on they are not found by Art historians. This objects are often of outstanding beauty.

And the owner cherish this small artworks as their most precious belongings.

It is not a red haired woman,  but I think it is so beautiful
